Allied Health Certified Medical Assistant with Phlebotomy & EKG

Our Medical Assisting training program will provide you with the required administrative and clinical skills of a Medical Assistant. Students will receive an overview of the legalities and ethical behavior associated with a medical practice/facility. Legal terms associated with the medical environment and ethical issues covered under the AMA Topics: OSHA, Malpractice, Confidentiality, Medical Practice Legislation, HIPPA.
Clinical I - This course is designed to develop the initial competencies required for the basic aspects of the clinical environment. Topics: CPR, Infection Control, Medical Asepsis/Sterilization, Vital Signs/Measurements.

CPT Coding (Current Procedural Terminology) introduces students to the principles and methodology employed for code selection of surgical procedures.
